As depicted above the Zune Database has gone down effectively wiping the Zune Cards and Zune Social pages of all data and information regarding song plays. All FRIENDS, favorties, recent plays, top plays, top artists, followed artists, etc are now missing.
I'm sure the team at Microsoft is doing their best to correct the problem I just hope there is some brave individual working on Sunday. Let's all hope the data is recoverable, how catastrophic would it be if they were gone forever. But who am I kidding this is Microsoft they probably have back-ups all the time.
Microsoft, has quietly removed the Zune 4 and color variations of the 8 and 16gb models leaving the 8 with only Black and 16 only Red. Quietly phasing out the flash products to be replaced by the immenent release of the Zune HD. This currently, is only effecting the Zune Store's Zune originals, as all color options and players are available from the zune.net site.

Michael Jackson died today at the age of 50 of what we believe to be a heart attack (under investigation). MOVIE MARKETPLACE
RR: What are you most looking forward to with the ZHD & Zune 4.0?
TK: Improved battery life, multi-touch and movies.
RR: Ah, so movies are coming to the marketplace at long last?
TK: The Zune team is working hard to get all the licensing agreements in order.
SIZING
RR: What are the sizes of The Zune HD?TK: 16GB and 32GB, Microsoft is considering adding a 64GB Zune later on in the model year
That quenches the insatiable thirst for a big flash storage.
Pricing
RR: How much is Zune HD projected to cost?TK: The prices are not set in stone yet, but the 16GB will be somewhere in the range of $249 -$280
So that leads me to believe the 32gb will cost more than the already released product, for the 16 to be less than most.
